Trainer Red is a legendary Pokémon Trainer originating from Pallet Town in the Kanto region. He is the protagonist of the original Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue (and their remakes, FireRed and LeafGreen) video games.
Red embarked on his Pokémon journey at the age of eleven, tasked by Professor Oak with filling the Pokédex and competing in the Pokémon League. His initial partner Pokémon is typically implied to be a Charizard, though the player can choose a different starter.
